About Me

Dr. Alipio completed medical school at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and his Psychiatry specialty training at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center Department of Psychiatry. He is a Diplomate of the Specialty Board of Philippine Psychiatry, and a Fellow of the Philippine Psychiatric Association (PPA). He was a Past Chair of the PPA Membership Committee. He is presently PPA Director for Luzon, Chair of the PPA Committee on Psychosocial Readiness and Response to Crisis and Disaster, and a member of the Editorial Board of the Philippine Journal of Psychiatry. He is also and incumbent Board Member and Treasurer of the Philippine College of Psychopharmacology. He is an International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. His undergraduate degree is from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila). He is also a graduate of Master in Management Major in Hospital Administration from the Philippine Christian University. His main practice is at the Philippine Heart Center Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine Section and in a private capacity at various clinics (see below) and online. His interests focus on psychiatry education and research. He is a photography, technology (full stack web development and software engineering), and music enthusiast.
